At “Wine, Women, Chocolate & Shoes”
“Wine, Women, Chocolate & Shoes” is the second annual Chamber of Commerce sponsored fundraiser targeting the women of our community. Many ladies are exceedingly fond of fashionable footwear. However, once purchased some footwear is never worn due to lack of coordinating outfits, change of foot size, boredom, etc.
Therefore, we are soliciting donations of fine shoes (and possibly matching purses) from the members of the community. The shoes will be grouped by size. You can bring the shoes by the Chamber at 1107 Broad Street in Phenix City or call us at 334-298-3639 and we will pick them up.
A $35 ticket will provide entrance to the event, two glasses of wine, hors d’oeuvres served by members of the Columbus Lions Arena Football team, a chocolate fountain, one free pair of shoes and the opportunity to purchase more. If you purchase 5 tickets you get the 6th one free. We will have live Karaoke for the event and we hope you will participate. There will also be a silent auction. The event will be held on August 5, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Board of Realtors office on Crawford Road.
If you have shoes or items that you would like to donate to the silent auction they would be greatly appreciated. Make plans to attend this exciting event!
